GENERAL ADVICE
bat survey

When planning your project, it is highly advisable to contact an ecologist at the earliest stages of the planning process. This will help prevent costly time delays and allows ecological work to be factored into the project budget and work schedule.

It should be noted that many protected species surveys are seasonally dependent, and planning authorities will not accept surveys outside of the appropriate 'survey season'. Missing the survey season can lead to lengthy time delays (many months) and cause unnecessary additional costs. The survey calendar below will help inform you on the appropriate time of year for surveys to ensure a smoother planning process.

A survey calendar is provided below to help inform you on appropriate timings of surveys throughout the survey season. Click below to view.
